Maryland High School Football – Damascus smashes Magruder

The Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) football routed the visiting Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD), 44-12 in Friday’s league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) in a Montgomery County 2A/3A bout, on Friday, September 28. Damascus will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 42-6 league loss to Blake (Silver Spring, MD).
The Colonels (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD). The Gladiators enter the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Northwood was overwhelmed by Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD), 55-20, in a non-league bout.
